The Black Diamond Distance Tent is a compact, two-person, three-season shelter, designed with ultralight backpackers, thru-hikers, and mountain adventurers in mind. This single-wall tent is constructed using two trekking poles* along with an included adaptor that connects the poles to a small DAC cross pole, which forms the structure of the tent. The tent is anchored with four stake-out points to create a fast-pitch shelter that is quick to assemble and stable even in windy conditions. To enhance ventilation, vents are positioned at both the peak and foot areas. Made from lightweight 30D polyester fabric, the tent can be packed down to the size of a Nalgene bottle. Additionally, a headlamp pocket is conveniently located in the peak for easy access to light.

High Tenacity Fabric The High Tenacity 30D poly fabric enhances the strength of the tent, preventing fabric sag and stretch when exposed to wet conditions. The combination of polyurethane and silicone coatings ensures the fabric remains waterproof while also retaining high tear resistance. The application of colour pigment as part of the outer coating provides a more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fabric dyeing methods. |
